What's Covered
Five active nutrients chosen for the mechanisms that determine how well your immune system responds, recovers, and protects against accelerated biological ageing.
01Vitamin C, 5g
The cornerstone of immune support. At 5 grams delivered intravenously, this is a dose not achievable through oral supplementation — the gut absorbs only a fraction of high-dose oral Vitamin C, with absorption dropping further above 1 to 2g. Published research shows IV delivery achieves plasma concentrations many times higher than oral dosing (Padayatty et al., Annals of Internal Medicine, 2004). Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
02Zinc
The immune system's gatekeeper mineral. Required for the development and function of T cells, B cells, natural killer cells, and macrophages. Even mild zinc deficiency meaningfully impairs immune response. Zinc also has direct antiviral properties and plays a central role in wound healing. Many people in the UK have suboptimal zinc status through diet alone.
03Magnesium
A cofactor in hundreds of enzymatic reactions, essential for energy metabolism, nervous system function, muscle recovery, and immune cell activation. Low magnesium status — not uncommon in modern diets — is associated with chronic low-grade inflammation and impaired immune response. IV delivery bypasses variable absorption in the gut.
04B complex
B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 together — essential for cellular energy production via the Krebs cycle, for the synthesis of DNA and neurotransmitters, and for the health of the nervous system. Water-soluble and depleted rapidly by stress, alcohol, and poor dietary intake. The immune system is energetically expensive; B-vitamin sufficiency is a prerequisite for it to operate at full capacity.
05Glutathione
Known as the body's master antioxidant, glutathione declines substantially with age, stress, illness, and toxin exposure. The primary intracellular defence against oxidative damage — neutralising free radicals, recycling other antioxidants including Vitamin C, and supporting liver detoxification. Oral glutathione is poorly absorbed; IV delivery ensures direct cellular availability. Glutathione also plays a direct role in lymphocyte proliferation and natural killer cell activity.
Together these address the antioxidant capacity, mineral status, and energy metabolism that immune function depends on — and several of the key drivers of chronic low-grade inflammation associated with accelerated biological ageing.

Audience
Who It's For
Immune support as part of a longevity and preventive health strategy, or to address specific periods of high demand.
- Proactive immune support as part of a longevity strategy
- Feeling run down, frequently ill, or slow to recover from illness or exertion
- Under high physical or psychological stress, which depletes Vitamin C, zinc, and B vitamins rapidly
- Frequent travellers wanting immune resilience around trips
- Recovery phase after illness or surgery
- Blood testing has indicated suboptimal antioxidant status, low zinc, or B vitamin deficiency

Results and What to Expect
Effects vary by individual but follow a recognisable pattern.
- Some clients report feeling refreshed during or shortly after the session; experiences vary
- Your clinician will advise whether repeat sessions are appropriate for you
- Monthly maintenance is appropriate for many people on a longevity protocol
- More frequent sessions may be helpful during high stress periods or illness recovery
- Per session price reduces with package size: from £••• down to £••• across 12 sessions
Important information: IV and injected nutrient treatments are not a substitute for a balanced diet or for medical treatment. Responses vary between individuals, and evidence of benefit in people without a diagnosed deficiency is still developing. Every treatment follows a clinical assessment, and your clinician will advise whether it is appropriate for you.
04
Difference
Why IV Rather Than Oral Supplements
The honest answer is bioavailability. Oral Vitamin C absorption drops sharply above 1 to 2g with gastrointestinal side effects increasing. IV delivery eliminates that limit entirely.
Plasma concentration
IV Vitamin C reaches much higher plasma levels than equivalent oral doses (Padayatty et al., 2004). Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Glutathione delivery
Oral glutathione is broken down in the gut before absorption. IV is the only reliable delivery route, ensuring direct cellular availability.
Immunity and longevity
Chronic low-grade inflammation — driven by immune dysregulation, oxidative stress, and inadequate antioxidant reserves — is one of the primary mechanisms underlying accelerated biological ageing. The nutrients in this drip directly address key drivers of this inflammaging process.
Clinical setting
Every session is administered by a qualified clinical practitioner in a supervised setting, with a brief health assessment before your first appointment. IV therapy is contraindicated in certain conditions including G6PD deficiency, which is why clinical supervision is essential.
05
Questions
Common Questions
How long does the session take?
Approximately 45 to 60 minutes, seated comfortably throughout.
Is the drip safe?
All EGA IV infusions are administered by a qualified clinical practitioner in a supervised clinical setting. A brief health assessment is conducted before your first session. IV therapy is contraindicated in certain conditions including G6PD deficiency, certain kidney conditions, and with specific medications — which is why clinical supervision is essential.
Will I feel the effects immediately?
Experiences vary. Some clients report feeling refreshed after a session, but responses are individual, and IV nutrients are not a guaranteed way to prevent illness.
How often should I have the drip?
For maintenance, monthly sessions are appropriate for many people. During high stress periods or illness recovery, more frequent sessions may be beneficial. Your clinician will advise.
Can I combine this with other EGA drips or treatments?
Yes. The Immunity Drip can be combined with other EGA infusions or preceded by a booster shot for additional targeted support.
Do I need a blood test before having an IV drip?
Not necessarily for a single session. For clients planning a regular course, EGA recommends baseline blood testing to establish your nutrient status and track the impact of treatment over time.
