Panel
What's Covered
The EGA Flagship panel is the most thorough blood analysis we offer — and one of the most comprehensive private blood panels available in London. It covers 100+ biomarkers across twelve health areas, with male and female-specific versions. Includes everything in the EGA Advanced panel, plus eight additional areas:
01Fatty Acid Status
Omega-3 Index, Omega-6:Omega-3 ratio, AA:EPA ratio, Arachidonic acid (AA), EPA, Trans fat index. The Omega-3 Index is one of the most clinically significant markers in the Flagship panel — and one of the most commonly deficient in UK adults. It measures the concentration of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids in your red blood cell membranes. In published research, an index below 4% has been associated with a higher risk of sudden cardiac death, and an index of 8% or above with the lowest risk (Harris & von Schacky, Preventive Medicine, 2004).
02Muscle & Joint Health
Creatine kinase, rheumatoid factor, uric acid. Creatine kinase is an enzyme released by damaged muscle tissue — relevant for anyone active. Rheumatoid factor screens for autoimmune joint disease, which can begin silently years before joint symptoms appear.
03Advanced Immune Health
Complement C3, complement C4, immunoglobulins A, G and M, anti-streptolysin O. The complement system is a critical arm of innate immunity. Abnormalities can indicate autoimmune conditions, chronic infection, or immune dysregulation. Immunoglobulins A, G, and M provide a comprehensive cross-section of antibody-mediated immune function.
04Bone Health
Parathyroid hormone (PTH). PTH is the primary regulator of calcium and phosphate metabolism. Elevated PTH — even within broad reference ranges — can indicate early hyperparathyroidism, accelerated bone resorption, or vitamin D-driven calcium dysregulation. This marker provides meaningful bone health data years before DEXA scan changes become apparent.
05Pancreatic Health
Amylase, lipase. These enzymes assess the exocrine (digestive) function of the pancreas. Elevated amylase or lipase can indicate pancreatic inflammation, biliary stress, or early pancreatic dysfunction, often without symptoms in initial stages.
06Allergy Evaluation
Immunoglobulin E (IgE). Total IgE provides a global measure of allergic load — relevant to asthma, eczema, urticaria, and food sensitivities. A chronically elevated IgE reflects a persistent allergic inflammatory state that can independently drive systemic inflammation, immune dysregulation, and poor recovery.
07Nutritional Health
Folate, vitamin B12, total antioxidant status (TAS). Total antioxidant status provides a single composite measure of your body's capacity to neutralise free radicals — the primary mechanism of oxidative stress and cellular ageing. Combined with folate and B12, this section gives a complete picture of methylation competence and antioxidant protection.
08Digestive Health
H. pylori antibody, anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies (anti-tTG). H. pylori is one of the most common bacterial infections worldwide. It is usually asymptomatic — and usually untested. Anti-tTG antibodies screen for coeliac disease — an autoimmune condition that affects around 1 in 100 people in the UK, only around a third of whom have been diagnosed (Coeliac UK).
The full EGA Advanced panel is also included — covering urinalysis, advanced lipids (ApoB, Lp(a), small LDL), inflammation & methylation (hsCRP, homocysteine), glucose & metabolic hormones (insulin, C-peptide, leptin, adiponectin), full renal function (cystatin C, eGFR), complete thyroid panel, full sex hormone panel with tumour markers (CA 125 female / PSA male), full blood count, iron studies, liver function, and key vitamins & minerals.

Audience
Who It's For
The EGA Flagship is for people who want the most complete and precise biological assessment available from a single blood draw.
- Want a genuinely exhaustive baseline — no significant gap left uncovered
- Have a family history of cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, cancer, or digestive disorders
- Are health-conscious, already optimising, and want data precise enough to inform serious decisions
- Suspect an undiagnosed condition — fatigue, joint pain, digestive issues, recurrent infections, skin problems
- Have completed the EGA Basic or Advanced panels before and want to go deeper
- Approach health with the same rigour you apply to everything else that matters
No referral needed. No waiting list.

Deliverable
Your Flagship Report
Your results are delivered as an EGA proprietary PDF report — a document produced by a clinician who has reviewed your individual results across all 100+ markers. Your report includes:
- Complete results structured by health system
- Doctor's written commentary on every marker outside optimal range
- Clinical significance and plain-language explanation for each finding
- Prioritised observations — ranked by relevance to your long-term health
- Specific, actionable recommendations across nutrition, lifestyle, and supplementation
- Guidance on whether further investigation or specialist referral is appropriate
This is not a table of numbers. It is a clinical document written for you, about you.

Difference
Why EGA Goes Further
A standard GP panel covers 10–15 markers. The EGA Flagship covers 100+. The conditions most worth detecting early — insulin resistance, thyroid autoimmunity, Lp(a)-driven cardiovascular risk, coeliac disease, early kidney decline — are invisible to standard testing.
Markers that change outcomes
The additional markers in the Flagship panel — Omega-3 Index, anti-tTG, IgE, complement markers, PTH, H. pylori, total antioxidant status — are not exotic extras. They are clinically meaningful tests that reveal conditions that are common, modifiable, and frequently missed for years or decades.
A report, not a readout
Your results come with a clinician-written commentary. You do not need a medical degree to understand what your results mean and what to do about them.
Longevity interpretation
We interpret results against optimal ranges — the ranges associated with the best long-term outcomes — not just the broad reference ranges that distinguish 'sick' from 'not yet sick.'
Speed
NHS turnaround times for specialist panels can extend to several weeks.

Questions
Common Questions
Do I need to fast before my blood test?
Yes. We recommend fasting for 10–12 hours before your appointment (water is fine). Continue any regular medications as usual unless advised otherwise.
Do I need a GP referral?
No referral required. Book directly online or by phone.
How long do results take?
Your full EGA report is delivered shortly after your blood draw. Your clinician will confirm an estimated turnaround when you book.
Why does the panel differ for men and women?
The hormone panel and tumour markers are tailored to male and female physiology. Women receive CA 125 ovarian screening and a full female hormone panel. Men receive PSA and male androgen interpretation. All other markers are identical.
What does coeliac disease screening involve?
The anti-tTG antibody test requires that you are currently eating gluten regularly (at least one serving per day for six weeks prior to testing). If you have already eliminated gluten from your diet, the test may produce a false negative. Please inform us at the time of booking.
What happens if my H. pylori test is positive?
A positive H. pylori result will be clearly highlighted in your report with a clinician's commentary and recommended next steps. Treatment typically involves a one-week course of antibiotics and is highly effective.
Can I share my results with my NHS GP?
Yes. Your PDF report is straightforward to share and provides significantly more clinical detail than a standard GP blood result sheet.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All personal and health data is stored and processed in full compliance with UK GDPR and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
