See Your Health ClearlyBefore It Speaks Up

By the time symptoms appear, the biology has been shifting for years. The EGA Foundation Health Screen gives you a clear, clinician-reviewed read of where you stand right now — so you can act early, not in hindsight.

Panel

What's Covered

A single appointment that tells you more about your body than years of annual GP check-ups. Three components — a comprehensive blood panel, an InBody body composition scan, and a 1-to-1 doctor consultation:

01Full Blood Count

Red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets — the foundation of understanding immune function, oxygen delivery, and overall blood health.

02Iron & Anaemia Markers

Iron, ferritin, transferrin, TIBC, transferrin saturation — identifies iron deficiency or overload, both of which significantly affect energy and cognitive performance.

03Cholesterol & Cardiovascular Risk

Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, total cholesterol/HDL ratio — the essential markers for understanding your heart disease risk.

04Sugar & Metabolic Health

Glucose, HbA1c — reveals how your body is managing blood sugar, and whether you're on a trajectory towards insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes.

05Kidney Function

Creatinine, eGFR, urea — assesses how efficiently your kidneys are filtering waste from your blood.

06Electrolytes & Minerals

Calcium (adjusted), chloride, magnesium, phosphate, potassium, sodium — critical for nerve function, muscle performance, hydration, and bone health.

07Liver Function

ALT, ALP, AST, GGT, total bilirubin, albumin — a full liver panel detecting inflammation, damage, or dysfunction before symptoms appear.

08Vitamins & Nutrients

Vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, zinc — deficiencies in these are among the most common, and most correctable, drivers of fatigue, mood issues, and poor immunity.

09Inflammation

High sensitivity CRP (hsCRP), CRP — measures systemic inflammation, one of the most significant underlying drivers of accelerated ageing and chronic disease.

10InBody Body Composition Analysis

Bioelectrical impedance analysis measuring skeletal muscle mass, body fat percentage and distribution (including visceral fat), total body water, and segmental muscle and fat analysis. Muscle mass and visceral fat are two of the most powerful predictors of long-term health and longevity.

1115-Minute Doctor Consultation

Your results are reviewed with you by one of our clinicians — not sent as a PDF to interpret alone. Your doctor walks you through every marker outside optimal range, explains what it means for your long-term health, identifies your highest-priority areas, and gives clear, actionable recommendations across nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation, or further investigation.

What These Results Can Tell You

A single blood draw, read correctly, can reveal what years of feeling 'fine' have been hiding:

  • Silent inflammation driving fatigue, brain fog, and accelerated cellular ageing
  • Nutritional deficiencies — around 1 in 5 UK adults have low vitamin D (Public Health England), and B12 deficiency is common, especially over 60
  • Pre-diabetic blood sugar patterns — often present for years before formal diagnosis
  • Liver stress from alcohol, medication, or metabolic strain
  • Anaemia or iron dysregulation — a common, often overlooked cause of low energy
  • Cardiovascular risk that standard NHS cholesterol checks miss
  • Kidney function decline — frequently asymptomatic until significant damage has occurred
  • Visceral fat and muscle mass scores you cannot see on a standard scale

Most people who come in feeling 'fine' leave with at least one result that changes how they approach their health.

04

Difference

How This Supports Your Longevity

Longevity medicine is not about treating disease. It is about identifying the subtle biological signals that precede disease — and intervening early, when the window for impact is greatest.

Your baseline

Before you can optimise anything, you need to know where you are starting from. This panel gives you a reference point to track against year on year.

Early warning signals

Cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome develop over decades. The markers we measure reflect what is happening inside your body right now — not just whether you feel symptoms.

A reason to act

Numbers are motivating. Seeing your visceral fat score, your inflammation levels, or your HbA1c in black and white makes it far easier to make the changes that matter.

A foundation for everything else

If you later explore hormone optimisation, IV therapy, or a more comprehensive longevity programme, this baseline data is where it begins.

Results in 48 hours

Your clinician-reviewed blood panel is delivered within 48 hours — not the weeks-long wait typical of NHS specialist panels.

Questions

Common Questions

Do I need to fast before my blood test?

Yes. We recommend fasting for 10–12 hours before your appointment (water is fine). This ensures accurate readings for glucose, triglycerides, and lipid markers.

Do I need a GP referral?

No referral is required. Book directly online or by phone.

How long does the appointment take?

Allow approximately 45–60 minutes. This covers the blood draw, your InBody scan, and your 15-minute doctor consultation.

How long do results take?

Your clinician-reviewed blood panel is delivered within 48 hours of your appointment.

What is the InBody scan?

InBody uses bioelectrical impedance to measure your skeletal muscle mass, body fat percentage and distribution (including visceral fat), and total body water. It is non-invasive and takes about 60 seconds.

What's the difference between this and the Advanced Longevity Assessment?

The Foundation Health Screen covers around 40 essential markers and is the right starting point for most people. The Advanced Longevity Assessment (£899) covers 80+ markers including a full hormone panel, advanced lipid profile, fasting insulin, full thyroid panel, plus VISIA skin age analysis and a longer 30-minute consultation.

Can I share my results with my NHS GP?

Yes. Your results are delivered as a PDF and are straightforward to share with any healthcare provider.

What is your cancellation policy?

48 hours' notice required. The £100 deposit is forfeited on late cancellations.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is stored and processed in compliance with UK GDPR and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
